invoice/inventory software other than peachtree

I was wondering if anyone knows of better progs for inventory and invoicing than peachtree and quickbooks. Specifically, I would like a prog that includes automatic pricing for individual customers. so for instance, I can give have the price of a product be 2.6 for customer A and 2.7 for customer B. My company has a lot of pricing levels and peachtree has a function for attaching price levels to customers but that gets too confusing, I would like to attach the prices to the customer and not some generic level.
Generally, I find peachtree too restrictive and cumbersome. The inventory list is very large and it sometimes takes 20-30 seconds just to put one entry on the invoice. I am also often able to type in all of the customer's information before the program has found a match on the database. Please let me know if 2007 has fixed this problem, I upgraded up to 2005 but stopped, didn't feel it was worth it to keep upgrading. I am running a p4 3.0 with 1 gig ram on a scsi drive in win xp pro, peachtree just uses too much mem. Thanks for any recommendations.
