VHS to DVD Conversion

I have many VHS home movies which I want to burn to DVD. I searched for proper equipment and found so much I got confused.
I have good laptop and desktop with lots of space and both can burn DVD. I also have VHS player. Now I need additional hardware for this job.
What do you recommend and for reasonable price?

I use a leadtek TV tunner card, it accept external input of video and audio, it's cheap and also let you watch TV on your computer.

I also have a DVD recorder, I prefer that as it's simple to use and can quickly back up all my VHS, I have to backup all my VHS collections before my VHS stop working, I'm not going to buy a new VHS.

While a simple conversion program doesn't cost a whole lot the resulting dvd will almost always produce a picture that is disappointing when played on your T.V. Video enhancement software will take care of most of these problems but it is expensive and very time consuming even on new and powerful computers. Your best bet is to check out a conversion company i.e.[URL="www.mymoviememory.net"]www.mymoviememory.net[/URL] It's hassel free and fairly inexpensive.
