Would Facebook allow giftcard giving in which likes add $?

I am thinking of starting a business in which you can post giftcards worth $0 to a friends wall when its their birhtday and then other friends that go into his profile to say HBday can like the gift card to add money to it. Every like is a peso (doing this in mexico) added to the gift card so the amount redeemable for the bday guy depends on how many likes the gift card gets. Its like group gifting except you dont pitch in any money, just facebook likes. This gives the company promotion and prescence in facebook. I dont know if this would be allowed by facebooks policies since they generally dont allow monetary rewards for social actions, except this is not a direct reward to the person carrying out the action (like). What do you guys think?

Why ask us? Why not ask around in Facebook?

I don't use FB anyway so not that my thoughts matter, but what happens to the birthday person's "Likes" when his birthday is over?

What do you mean by 'redeemable'? For what?

What company?

If FB wouldn't allow this anyway, then that's it, isn't it.

Clarifying

Lets say it is your birthday. One of your friends goes on my site, selects a gift card from Starbucks and pastes it on your wall. The gift card for Starbucks is worth $0 right now. But then, friends that go on your profile to say happy birthday "like" the giftcard. Lets say 60 friends liked the gift card. At the end of the day you receive a code that you can use in Starbucks as a gift card, valid for $60 pesos.(about 6 dollars)
Really any business could be part of this. Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Dominos, but I would mainly focus on small businesses like independent coffe shops, and bars, which are the ones in need of Facebook prescence and bran awareness.
I tried contacting FB but I havent gotten a response, so I went on this site in the hope of receiving a response by someone who knows about FB policies.

Thank you very much, free coffee for a month, or whatever. No, I don't think so. i don't think Starbucks or any other online or red brick stores are going t accept that.

It's a non-starter.

Limits

The thing is, I would be doing this in Mexico. Every "like" adds a peso (about 10 cents of a dollar). Limit would be 150 likes, or $15. Starbucks was an example, I would focus in independent bars and coffee shops, which would be willing to pay 10 cents per like or max $15 total to have 150 people like their gift card which would give great exposure for that money.

And let's say.. it happened to be a GREAT idea.

As of this (public) posting, it will now turn into ... someone else's idea. devil (If you "catch my drift")

On a more serious note, I feel the idea has too many drawbacks and flaws. Sorry, just my opinon and.....
