How did you end up in this position?
1.) You should have a retail Vista DVD, not a burned copy. If you started out with a downloaded copy chances are it's been altered by a third party. It's untrustable form a security perspective and may be the reason why no key works. Buy a retail copy from your local electronics store or order a DVD from Microsoft.
2.) How did you originally receive your product key? If it was 'from a friend' or found online, you must purchase a legitimate key from a local electronics store, online from a store such as Newegg, or directly from Microsoft's marketplace.
3.) What do you mean the key won't go in? Is it that the ordering process is asking for your current (illegitimate) key, or that each new key you've purchased (how was it purchased? how many of you purchased? from which website?) is ruled invalid when you try to activate Windows?
Give us the full story and we'll go from there.
John
