Hid conversion kit...

Hi

new to the site.
I have a big volvo truck 2005 VNL670, and i was serching the internet for a hid conversion kit, but couldnt find any for trucks so i bought a one designed for a car, withe the same bulb design it is H11, 6000k, 12V, 50W. i got it today and i tried to install it, when i connected every thing, and trun the key to the on position, it turns on for about a second and then shuts off agian, so i connected the kit directly to the battery to test if the bulbs were of, they stayed on, but when i connected it back to the headlight harnest it did the same thing,
Can any one please help me solve this problem.
