Sony 55wf vs 55xs?
by jclega - 2/14/05 9:19 AMAre there any differences in the engine or picture quality or is it just the hookups and chassis? I've heard there is an additional 'video' menu on the 'XS' series can NE! shed some light on this?
Also, NE1 have comments on the built in HDTV tuner quality on the Sony TVs? I might also consider the Mitsu 52525 if this set has a better tuner.
Anyone please feel free to share info/experiences.

sony, my TV broke 2 times already

I would go with the mitsubishi. A buddy of mine has had one for 10 years with no problem. I am done with sony.

I couldn't pass this up and I've had it for ablmost a week and couldn't be happier. I am afraid however to upgrade the firmware since this has sent many units to the grave.

I use cable card and according to them, this firmware fixes any issues with cable card among other things. It takes 3-5 min. to upgrade . call 949-830-8364 to get your firmware.
