Digital music: Rip sound from DVDs
Rip sound from DVDs
by Majortom73 - 1/27/05 8:36 AMI own a number of music DVDs (concerts, etc.) and would like to be able to play the music in my car, iPod, etc. Is there any software for ripping the audio from DVDs, the way there is from CDs? Thanks.

I assume you have ripped the DVD to a hard disk but with DVD Audio ripper you do not have to. The software will rip by track. You can convert to MP3, or WAV.
I have not fooled around with surround sound, just the stereo tracks. You can then move the tracks to another piece of software to clip long appaluse segments out of the song if you want.
