I think you are looking for Tapeless Camcorders.

These units have 6 or 7 device in one compact unit.

I myself have a model Aiptek DV4500, an acceptable
camera that is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket.

But one feature which I think you should do research on is the low light capability. These cameras do poorly indoor in low light conditions. So look for a camera
that has a lens opening of f/2.8 or better.

You can find many brand names and models on Ebay.
