cant make up my mind which camera to purchase:
Cannon Powershot S1
Cannon Powershot A95
Konica Minolta Dimage Z2
Olympus C770
I know I would like a 10 X Optical....I would like a microphone for the movies and actually want a 4.0 megapixel and the Powreshot S1 is 3.2 megapixel but with many other features and a raw mode which most dont have. I also want a self timer and it appears I cannot have all I want in any one camera. Does anyone have any suggestions.
I will use the camera mostly for family pictures daylight and night at party, vacations and taking pictures of statues outdoors.
Need help in making the decesion
Hi,
I currently have a canon s50, it does raw, has a self timer.. is a 5 mega pixel camera and I'm not sure about the optical zoom. There are manual settings so if you are interested in photography, this is a great camera to get started. IF you go to the website below, you will find reviews and ratings of all different types of cameras. Good luck!

RAW ability and 10X is a tall order but not impossible.
Nikon 8800 - 8 megapixels - sells for around $900
Fujifilm S5100 (USA) S5500 (Europe) - 4 megapixels - sells for $400
For the usage you outlined - the Fujifilm camera should be a good choice.
