Any quantities? Anything more than manuals?

by Ziks511 - 11/25/04 12:33 PM In reply to: Al-Zarqawi Lieutenant Arrested in Mosul - WMD found? by Kiddpeat

Apparently the quantities of conventional weapons were huge. A few more successful operations like this and maybe we'll have the terrorists on the run. A consumation devoutly to be wished.

At least we know where to find the weapons now

Rob, and I second that sentiment, the "terrorists on the run" sounds good to me.

This is inconclusive as far as WMD, before or after the invasion is concerned. But the point has to be made that the search for WMD in Iraq has been far from exhaustive and could go on for a very long time to come.

Mosques and Hospitals would be a good place to hide WMD because they are protected sites under the Geneva Conventions. Well, they are protected until someone in them fires at one of our friendlies. Even then, we try not to fire on holy ground because of the bad press we would receive.

Still though, my good money goes to Syria as to the hiding place of the WMD

While one goes down and another one is killed, as long as the US and Israeli policy continues, there will be ten more of the same for each of them!
