Last week, I found that for some reason I could not open a BBC News website video using my RealPlayer after a few months of non-use.
So, I downloaded the latest version of RealPlayer (10) from the real.com site. I installed it without uninstalling the older version. This time, I couldn't even initiate the new RealPlayer. A box appeared saying "The procedure entry point _Isseki64 could not be located in the dynamic link library PNCRT.dll."
I then went to Control Panel's "Add/Remove Programs" to uninstall RealPlayer. When I click it, it says "Uninstaller Component Missing".
For your info, I use Window XP.
Can anyone advise, please? Thanks a lot!
Real seems to have such issues and I can't fix their software. But with Windows XP, you would use System Restore to before the REAL escapade.

I've got the same ****!
Any one who can fix this?!
Is this a codec-clash thing perhaps?
You need to go to cnet.com. From there go to download.com and then click on players. Real Player 10 doesn't have a good track record and this player comes with no uninstaller. It is also uncompatable with windows XPpro, and no one seems to know why including the people at Real.com. If you go to majorgeeks.com you should be able to find a tool to remove this piece of crap which has been known to crash winXPpro on many occasions. Even though some will say that you need a faster machine I can see no reason for so many users to have the same problems. This version of Real Player is better off avoided.
using window xp.
