Hello All,
I have a Frontpage 2003 website which is database driven with an Access 2003 database. Result pages work fine using the DRW. However we want to have a form where the user can input there own information and have it stored in the Access database table. But part of the information is for the user to UPLOAD an image to the database. Here is my problem:
got this link from Microsoft about the upload feature in 2003. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=299763..........I understand the procedure about selecting the folder to store the uploaded image...........BUT "How do I tell the database (Access) to store the file path in the "Photo" field of the table so that it points to that directory??. So that the image will show when the drw displays results
I will pay for any assistance in this project for I am eager not only to get this accomplished but to also learn a great deal about web development. I have learned tons from this forum just browsing already. I hope someone is willing to step up
That's strange. I replied to this post yesterday and now it's gone. Hm.
Anyway, I cannot beleive anyone has not taken you up on this offer. I would be glad to provide you with the neccessary code to upload an image directly to an access database.
I have previous experience in this area and examples to provide you if you are still interested. Everything is written in ASP(VBScript).
Please feel free to contact me using AIM. My AIM screenname is a6m1n. Once you have contacted me, I'll be glad to provide you with an email address that you can correspond to.
