I have a sony cyber Shot P72.
I want to use like a Web Cam, send the video in real time for the PC using the usb cable.
In then manual say that this is not possible. But i Think that if this is possible. maybe with some software or changing the firmware, or manupilationg the internal configutarion.
Any One Know if this is possible.
Hi Juan. If you already have the solution for using your P-72 as a web cam, please, tell me how. I'm thinking just like you... and looking for some solution. If I find it, I will send you.
Tks and regards...
Ivan
Can you please tell me how i can use the cam as a web cam?I am trying to do the same and i don't know how.
Look forward on your reply
Thanks
This model is likely to overheat and fail. As such the maker does not supply a webcam software. This will be true of most digital cameras. The ones that can survive 24x7 hour operation usually come with webcam software.

With the costs of webcams so low it is a waste of your digital camera to try to put it to this use. In the end you will have a poor webcam and a damaged digital camera!
Just go out and buy a dedicated webcam that will be supported by your computer's software and use your digital camera for taking pictures!
