CDMA vs. GSM

by Brian21 - 10/22/04 6:04 PM

I was wondering if phones that say they are on a CDMA band work on a GSM band. For example the Verizon phones, if unlocked, will they work on Cingular networks?

A GSM phone requires a SIM card to work. It's apples and oranges. CDMA - no SIM card. They are completely different systems.
