CPU 100% occupied

by rmundell - 10/22/04 8:34 AM

since upgrading to SP2 I keep having a problem where the computer seems to freeze, with the CPU resources being 100% used, primarily by explorer and CSRSS. I have tried disabling all non-essential processes, searched for viruses, checked outgoing traffic etc., but the only cure is to terminate explorer and reopen it with the task manager. Any ideas on how to fix this, or what is the problem?
