Since loading SP2 for XP Home on my Sony VAIO PCV-RS610 desktop computer, I have a problem with Norton Anti Virus being disabled at startup. I have to click on the icon in the tray and enable it manually, although I have it set to enable at Windows startup.
Is there a patch or fix for this?
You didn't specify as to which version of NAV that you have but if it is NAV 2004, this link will give you some suggestions, if not you should be abe to find something at Symantec about your particular version. Hope this helps.

You might want to check in msconfig if the start up command for norton has been unchecked. If this is the case just check it and restart.
Another way to add it would be via spybot (available at kolla.de if I am not mistaken). In the advanced mode you can add to the start up manually.
Otherwise try pasting the short cut into start\all programs\startup.
Good luck
