I have some video I would like to put onto my pc to edit and view.
JVC vid cam with usb, firewire and s-video hookups.
PC has Wxp pro. two HD's with 120g. Asus a7n8x deluxe MB. Quadro 4 750 gl graphics card.
What other equipment or software do I need to get the video from my camera to the PC?

I have a JVC and it's supplied software, while odd does work. Seems like you have it all.

My JVC didn't work with movie maker. I may try again later but it could be the USB 2.0 that I'm using and MM wanted firewire?

That is all I see you have left to purchase. That is, you need a cable to connect either the firewire, s-video or usb to your pc. I recommend you use the firewire if you can. The cable may cost more than the other two but it will be faster, I think.
