Coaxial into Monitor with a converter possible?

by trjelenc - 11/8/09 9:48 AM

I am looking to buy a PC Monitor to play Xbox 360 on because they are a cheaper alternative to an actual TV. The only problem is that I want to connect a coaxial cable to it (please note that it is a JUST a COAXIAL CABLE and not connected to any other box), like my TV I have now, but don't know what kind of converter I would need, if there is such thing. I will not have it connected to a PC at all.

Please tell me any suggestions you have.(Please keep descriptions fairly simple if possible for I am sort of a noob at this)

Don't use coaxial

Also, going only an LCD monitor won't give you any sound without also going to some sort of audio input on a PC.

Monoprice.com would give you better results to match the native resolution of the LCD monitor. It's < $10 for an HDMI->DVI cable which you could hook directly to an LCD monitor.
