Well here's the story: I was on this site when I read an article about some freebies. One was that IObit was offering a free one year activation of its professional (paid) version of Security 360. All went well at first. Downloaded, installed and got an email with the activation code. Was getting daily updates until recently when a pop up would say: New version of IObit Security 360 is available now. It's free. Download now? If I click on the yes box nothing happens. Funny thing is as far as I know I'm using the latest version(v1.10). Now it's not updating any new malware definition files. The same pop up just appears. I went to their web site to see if I could manually download the supposed new version but none of their download page links would work. This is not an isolated incident. A friend of mine tried the same offer and the same thing happened to him. I read about IObit getting into hot water because of allegedly stealing definition files from Malwarebytes. I wonder if that has got something to do with it. Has anyone else run into the same problem? If I can't resolve this issue I'll go back to using what I was, which was Spyware Terminator. Not a very good endorsement for their product is it?
I tried using the download link here a few days ago and it took me to IObit's web site with the same results. However I decided to try Cnet's link one more time and it took me to Techspot's download server where I was able to get the latest version(v1.2). Installed it and that seemed to do the trick.
I was using the IObit Security 360 version 1.1. I can not connect to IObit's server few days ago. It is really uncomfortable. Today I tried to check update and received a message:" New version of IObit Security 360 is avaible now. It's free. Download now? "I selected yes, then download the latest version 1.2 from a linked webpage.
So far, it works well.
Yes, I too am getting this whenever I restart my machine. Help!!!!
Link on Iobit sent me here for version 1.30 released 11/15.
Three download sites, all were busy this morning,
finally able to complete from Internode in Australia.
Still indicates I have the upgraded PRO license.

mayb ritchie was right iobit might stealing the malewarebites database.i have used these 2 together and they both have the same result in detection.i was a free user and my problem began when i upgrade to 1.02.maybe iobit stops the server and its we who are guilty of renaming the same problem in different shape.yes mayb its time to realize the fact.
Have you tried the MajorGeeks link I gave in earlier post
to upgrade to version 1.30?
Also note MajorGeeks has updated the Iobit links on their site,
not removing them since MalwareBytes' accusations.
