I see that CNET doesn't have a way to formally close their accounts. Please close my account for me!
FAQ: I want to delete my account...
Cnet does not have a formal method of letting a member delete, or request the deletion of, his/her account. Instead, it is generally recommended that you unsubscribe from any newsletters, unsubscribe from any tracked threads, edit your personal profile if you wish, logout, and not use your account again. However, if you have a specific need to have your account deleted you may click here and use the webform to request that Cnet Customer Services delete your account. When doing so, please note that it will only affect Cnet-owned websites that are under the 'Cnet red ball' logo, which include cnet.com, download.com, and news.com. You may have to unsubscribe, and have your account deleted, from other Cnet sites, such as tv.com, mp3.com, and gamespot.com, individually.
Regards,
John
