How can I edit the text in a screen capture?

by bbt2 - 9/25/09 10:19 PM

What software will allow me to edit the text in a screen capture without it looking like it has been edited? For example, if I take a screen capture of a website and there is the word apple, how can I change that word from apple to orange, without it looking like it's been edited? Thanks for any responses.

Well... that's the kind of thing photoshop is used for. It's not necessarily easy though. There is no way to direct edit the text though. You'd have to paint out the elements you don't want and then type on top of it.
