by dog71170 - 11/6/09 11:42 AMwe are looking for a larger screen internet ready laptop with Windows xp on it for an elderly person---we don't want to spend alot of money---couple hundred--can anyone recommend a refurbisher with credibility?---would it be risky to go with a used/refurbished model from ebay?---she really only uses it for brief internet access, email, and sending pictures to be printed---any suggestions would be helpful......Thanks

Sorry there is no such clearinghouse of good repute.
Shop for one of those very nice 11 inch netbooks that NEW are under 300.

Of where the maker does the refurbs. Look for those and not your other ebay outlets for this.
