Quality is also dependent upon drivers and audio system.

I have all of the latest drivers for it, and update it whenever updates come out. Probably not much, because the both use the same Audio Chipset: X-Fi. I do think you will hear a bit more because of the higher Sample Rate: 192KHz. This card and a good set of 5.1 surround sound speakers would sound nice, like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121120 or better.
