I just got a new home theatre (HT-BD3252) and have some questions.
1) I see instructions in the manual on how to stream from a pc. Can I also stream from a mac?
2) Every time I change the channel of my tv or fast fwd/rewind, there is a pause where the audio drops out for a few seconds, then comes back. Can this be fixed?
I'll probably have more later, but these come to mind right away.
Thanks in advance for any help!
5errr,
1. Mac is not officially supported, although that's not to say that it can't stream - but the software for that would have to be compatible. It may exist, but I don't know of any offhand.
2. The audio may drop out because it's a digital stream of audio. Like other digital devices, the flow of data stops, and then has to restart.
I hope that helps. Let us know if you have further questions.

Not sure I understand the audio drop out answer, but I guess I'll have to let it go. I would love to see it addressed though.
My next question has to do with the system shutting itself off. I've had this happen a couple times now where the system powers down while I'm watching tv. Is this a known thing? If so, is there a fix in the works?
Thanks for your help.
5errr,
Let's see if I can answer that with a little more detail. All digital channels rely on the flowing of data. Changing the channels stops the current connection of data to start a new connection of data. Therefore, the time that it takes for the signal to re-connect is where the picture drops out because there is no picture. Previous analog merely changed frequencies without the television cutting out while the analog television would tune. Does that make a little more sense?
Which system is powering down? I'm not aware of this happening with HT systems, so it's not known as far as I know, and thus, there's no "fix". Again, that I'm aware of.
Hope that helps.
