Pin out for the Hawk Eye Nature Cam
by yelkenli1 - 10/15/09 3:25 PMThe Hawk Eye Nature Cam is a miniature camera packaged for outdoor use. It has power and RCA jacks for video and audio (white and yellow for video and audio, and the third red jack is used for power). It is powered by a wall converter 9V 0.5Amp DC output.
I need to cut the wires to fish the cable through a wall, then reconnect with jacks (available at Radio Shack).
Does anyone have any information on the manufacturer to ask them the correct re-connections (the connections are buried in a potted piece of plastic), and/or how to determine the polarity of the power and audio video connections. If this is not a good forum, a recommendation would help there also.

You've probably figured out how to repair the cable by now, but if not, go to my web site at www.birdhousespycam.com, and click on the Questions tab at the top. You'll find an explanation as well as a video about the third or fourth question down. I'm the original manufacturer for the Hawk Eye.
