I need help to find a laptop...

by oscar.aldaz - 11/2/09 2:25 PM

At my job, I was requested to get any laptops with this specific requirements:

REQUIRED
COMPONENTS

PROCESSOR Intel Centrino 2 processor technology featuring Intel Core 2 Duo (T9000,P9000 & P8000 SERIES), CHIPSET Mobile Intel 965 Express GM or PM Chipset and Intel Graphics.

or a laptop with...

PROCESSOR Intel Centrino 2 with vPro technology powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo processor and CHIPSET Mobile Intel 965 Express GM or PM Chipset Mobile Intel GM47/GM45/PM45 Express chipsets.

Do you have any idea which one has all these requirements? I can't find any. Thank you very much.

I've seen such from HP, Dell, Toshiba and others that meet that spec. Seems rather loose as specs go. Why not pick up the phone and call Dell's business sales?

You've got some solid guidelines to go from, so you might want to check out the PC Scout. It can pull up the laptops that fit your criteria, then you can go to whoever makes the calls at your job and narrow things down.

Here's that link from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pc-scout/laptop-set-criteria.aspx?mode=landing

Cheers,
Ron
