I'm looking for a camera that has XLR inputs for audio but I'm not sure what they would be defined as in the Specifications sheet. Would it say something like "XLR input" or something else? Sorry if the question is unclear as even I'm a bit unclear as to what the proper terminology may or may not be.
Digital cameras treat video as an after-thought and only one or two even have inputs for an external microphone.
None have XLR inputs.
If you want something that sophisticated, you need to be looking at camcorders (high end camcorders).
Something over $6,000 price range.
Such as the Canon XL-H1
For information of camcorders, you should post your question on the Camcorders Forum.
