I am planning to buy a new computer with Windows 7 built in. Can I set it up so that it acts like and works similar to Windows XP? If so, exactly how would I do that? Thank you very much. user470
I doubt it without some major re-engineering, but Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Ultimate does have a Virtual PC option, where you can install XP as a virtual OS.

Windows 7 isn't that much different from xp from a user interface prospective. I think if you give yourself a little time you will like the differences windows 7 offers.
