How do I backup my Dell 9300 with Windows home edition xp? I do not have a copy of the cd because it was loaded on the laptop when I purchased it.
I need to send the laptop back to Dell for some repairs so I am sure I need to do a complete backup.
Most of the "stuff" is personal and not "life and death" important but I would not want to lose any of it just the same.
Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Give the following free program a try.DriveImage will back up you total "c" drive to an external HD.From this source the whole C drive or individual files can be copied back to it's source if necessary.
