by brownj1594 - 10/16/09 8:05 PM

well looking for a cell of my own (currently on parents plan). I'd like unlimited talk and text for a low monthy bill 70 and below. preferably 50 dollars. i now metro and boost mobile have plans like this. are there any others? does any 1 have a metro or boost phone that they really enjoy under these plans?

How about Page Plus- $39.95

It's using the Verizon network for coverage, so you get a pretty good deal, and could bring in a Verizon compatible handset of your choice (even smartphone) to use this service.

Verizon branded phones will work

The various compatible models would be using CDMA/EV-DO technology. Call the Page Plus toll free support number for the specifics ;)

Boost is Nextel

Boost is Nextel and gives you the two way radio feature on all phones in addition to the unlimited talk on the phone as well as unlimited text and web surfing for the $50 per month plan.
The Boost phones are Motorola equipment and all have LOUD speakerphones since Nextels have had speakerphones as standard (or activated for a one time fee) for the last 11 years: they work great on speakerphone which is required while driving.
The Nextel network also gives you very good sound quality on the phone circuit. Some shops "hack up" older Nextel phones to work with the $50 Boost plan. Some insist you buy the new Boost phone.

BEWARE:

Beware: So where are you located that you would use this web site from Hong Kong to buy from among 40 phones with dual SIM cards that make NO mention of which networks they would work on and what brand name they are.....None have any reviews and there is no phone or address contact information..BEWARE
