Resubmitting activation numbers after upgrading to Win7

I wanted to post this originally in Win7 forums but I can't access it so this is the next best place.

This is regarding Norton Antivirus 2010.

I'm planning to upgrade from Vista to Win7 soon, but not soon enough to be able to not have to activate my new antivirus. My current subscription ends this weekend but I'm not getting Win7 until end of November. That being said, I wanted to know if I activate the key now, when I do a clean install, will I be able to activate it again. Will the server on Symantec's side recognize the same computer? Would really suck to have to buy another license after only a month or two of usage. We are two at home so a 3 users key woulnd't work in this situation.

Any thoughts?
