I am using Cable, with a modem. My download speed is over 3000 kbs, upload 1890kbs. It is almost always fast enough for my usage. Needless to say, my provider promises "up to 7 mbs."

I have done this several times, and get the same results from a DSL
download 207 kbps
upload 88 kbps
Compared to everyone else, this sounds very wrong.
TimeWarner TurboBoost I consistently get 22300Mb/s Up and 1870Mb/s Up.
That's with 5 other systems connected through a 10/100 switch through a 3COM 3CR858-91 v1.13 firmware.

I'm getting 6Mb DSL from a local DSL provider here in Houston http://dsl-houston.net if I do a Speed Test shows I am actuall getting a little more than that though.
