Acer aspire one freezes

8.9 inch screen
120 gb hard drive
possible problem: power management causes hard drive clicking. possible meaning parked hard drive. trying to get this fixed looked at this http://nodadev.wordpress.com/pc-projects/a1ctl/#comment-1582
but there isnt any intructions for me. it tells me it controls the fan but this is all i know.
note: my computer freezes randomly only possible way to get it unfrozen is to hold the power button and restart

All the Acer One's I know are less than a year old.

Make that call to the warranty center. And yes, there are almost no user serviceable things inside. Just swap things if you must but at the cost of parts, a new unit is likely cheaper.
