Mac OS X: Can't install Snow Leopard and now my HD is blocked
Can't install Snow Leopard and now my HD is blocked
by marcox2 - 10/1/09 5:02 AMI tried to install Snow Leopard and at some point the installation reported an error. After several tries It says my HD needs Registry Activation in order to continue.
I go to Disk Utility and the volume apears, I try to verify and reports error. Then to Repair and error again.
I think I need to Activate Registry, but i can't through the Disk Utility, and via Console can't find the right code.
It's formated Mac Os Plus, and says there're no activated propietaries. I have lots of information and I'd like to g back and unrun the install process, but don't know how to proceed.
Please advice or refer to some other related problem in the forum.
I can give more data if necessary.

Some times it is worth it to go deep into the shadows of computing, but this time I had to give up, as it was even hard to explain the problem.
