Yeah, never understood that particular fetish, personally.

I remember a guy on the train to Southend with piercings like this, and large grommetted holes in his ears and nose. He'd have looked quite at home in New Guinea if he fell headfirst in a pile of bird pluckings.
Fortunately my son is not interested, though he's been talking about a "Hand of Eris" tatoo which I am treating with benign neglect and hoping for the best. We've been having some pretty serious talks recently, and his head is still screwed on the right way forward. Hope it continues.

No not really a 'Pinhead'

Haha nice use of the word pinhead, but I think this fellow in the picture should not be dissed or mocked. I respect the face that people may think he looks 'ridiculous' or 'intimidating' but I think its a form of spiritual art. This man sees himself to

1. Have controll over his flash
2. Be Open minded thinker
3. Likes to be different/individual

When I see people like this is see people trying to be different and people who are genuinely different...dont fall in to the 'different' catigory unless you want the 'different lifystyle'

Thanks to the pinhole minded person who posted this

"spiritual art"

Bible, Leviticus chapter 19
You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh on account of the dead or tattoo any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

Slave Marks

Exodus 21:6 - then his master shall bring him to God, and he shall bring him to the door or the doorpost; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for life.

Deuteronomy 15:17 - then you shall take an awl, and thrust it through his ear into the door, and he shall be your bondman for ever. And to your bondwoman you shall do likewise.

A slave bore an identification mark, removable only by a surgical operation, that later consisted of his owner's name tattooed or branded on the arm.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_in_ancient_Rome
Slaves often sought freedom by escape. Historian Moses Finley remarked, "fugitive slaves are almost an obsession in the sources". Rome forbade the harbouring of fugitive slaves, and professional slave-catchers were hired to hunt down runaways, with advertisements being publicly posted which provided precise descriptions of escaped slaves, and with rewards offered.[8] If caught, fugitives could be brutally punished and branded on the forehead with the letter F, for fugitivus. Sometimes slaves had a metal collar riveted around the neck. One such collar was preserved at Rome and states in Latin, "I have run away. Catch me. If you take me back to my master Zoninus, you'll be rewarded."

Did you mean to say

"1. Have controll over his flash" or did you mean "control over his flesh"?

If you were referring to his body, keep in mind that we have no means to extend it's potential natural life...only ways to shorten it.
