Once it is higher than 2.5, we should be good to go.
I tried using the "Chat" feature on there support site, but the dude i was chating with knew nothing.
I hope the guy that told me "week or 2" was not blowing smoke up my @$$.
We will see.
2 weeks is up.
This is rediculous unable to play blu rays.
With the money I saved not buying movies I could buy a new player.
I just hate throwing this piece of crap into a landfill.
They should fix this or allow us to return for a refund.
I have had the BD -P2550 since December and it is the worst electronic device I've ever owned. I've had $20 dvd players that work better than this. It pauses while reading discs constantly, but usually it will not work at all, it gets stuck at bootup on the LOAD screen. This thing is a piece of garbage. TO ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY - DON'T. Find something else. It is completely non functional about 80% of the time, and the other 20% only the streaming works, because blurays certainly do not play continuously.
I've had nothing but problems with my player as well. Bluray discs won't play then they will then they won't without me even doing anything different from day to day. Netflix won't stream then will stream then gives "hacked keys" then....I feel like Samsung is Lucy and I'm f'in Charlie Brown...they just keep pullin' the football laughing all the way to the bank.
Meanwhile the release the 1600(?) which is a third of the price I paid for my player which is less than a year old and it has constant firmware updates and newer features.
Needless to say I'll never buy a Samsung BDP/DVD player again.
