Good Luck to Molly

by anonymousjoseph - 9/17/09 6:31 PM

As some of you may know, Molly recently had her house broken in to. The tweet announcing it has disappeared for now, but it was there. It said, "Break-in. Cleaned out. All electronics gone, including Viv and TV. Oakland police say they "hope" to get a car here "today." FML." It was here: http://twitter.com/mollywood/statuses/4065079422

I'm just creating this thread to tell Molly good luck on tracking that idiot down and getting her stuff back.

Good luck, Molly!

Perhaps Molly deleted the Twitter post for a reason

So why are you reposting it?

Post 3 of 10

Anyone can "retweet", no?

Once it's out there, it's out there. It's not like this is going to be any big secret given the number of followers she must have.

If this really did happen, I feel for her and her family. That's such a violation, and thank God no one was there. A home should be one's safe haven.

She keeps talking about it.

Well, she keeps talking about it. Since then, she's posted 4 more tweets about it, and she's received replies from Natali, Jason, and Tom about it. Anyhow, I just created this thread to say good luck, not start an argument.

But Leo Laporte retweeted it...

So even more people know about it

So upsetting!

I've been there. Best I can say is that I came away from it a lot smarter. Heard good things about http://secure.propertyroom.com/serial/. Good luck.

Thing I'd be most worried about, privacy, data and the login info for web sites in cookies...

Hey Molly - I only just read about your "visitor" - as long as you, hubby and the cylon-baby are OK, that's the important thing.

Had it happen to me about 14 years ago - and I wasn't insured !

Hang in there - and tell Oakland Police to HURT the ******** !!!
