TechTracker emailed: 2 apps available to Mac (run OSX 10.6)

by edaboy51 - 9/17/09 6:33 PM

I unexpectedly received mail that Firefox and ClamXAV updates are available. I updated them on my iMac (Intel Early 2006 running Snow Leopard 10.6.1.) My hope was to add more apps for the TechTracker to keep me posted on. However, nowhere on the CNET TechTracker member pages could I find the tools to actually add to the list of just two apps being monitored.
Then I checked the TechTracker FAQs that seemed to say the a Mac version of TechTracker is not yet available.
Just a little confusing.

Thanks for giving TechTracker app a try. We have a public beta version of TechTracker app for the Mac. It appears you are using it. TechTracker app is for tracking software you have installed on your computer. To track software not on your computer, you'd want to use My Lists. Here's a great post about My Lists.
