My pc crashes more often than it runs properly, and every error message talks about the active x plugin for adobe flash player 10! My HP total care advisor says I need to uninstall the flashplayers active x plug-in by downloading the active x uninstaller, saving it to the desktop, then uninstall it from the desktop icon, restart the pc and reinstall it. I've tried this at least 10 times now to no avail! I don't know what else to do at this point, and I really need some help! Does anyone have other ideas of how to do this, or if theres another way of fixing this problem?
I have a HP Pavillion A6433w, runnung vista home premium with SP2, dual core processor 2.00ghz, 500gb hard drive, and a 1TB external harddrive,

Make sure all browsers are closed down. Then after uninstalling Adobe's Flash player, I would restart the computer before attempting to reinstall.
