My old Toshiba DVD player has a nice zoom feature: pressing the zoom button on the remote lets you magnify a portion of the screen, with three levels and then back to Zoom Off; while you're zoomed in the arrow buttons let you scan the zoom spot around the image. This is handy for, say, pausing and zooming in to see what brand of single malt that was, or what the label is on that beer bottle, etc. - or when watching cast or music credits that are too small to see unless in a theater.
My newer Sony DVD player, while it has HDMI Bravia capability, does not have that sort of zoom in or magnify feature. Are there any Blu-Ray players out there that do what my old Toshiba did?
