Would apple release new ipod nanos and ipod classics next week?
Though I'd be surprised to see anything really new with Nanos and Classic...perhaps a refresh. I expect more for the iPod Touch.
Something with improved sound quality would be nice.
...the Classic may actually be discontinued. NAND-based units appear to be all the rage. Hard drives and their inherent frailties are so 20th-century, or so the retort goes. Already the Zune120 is reportedly scheduled for the axe. But as always, we'll see...
"Editors' note, August 18, 2009: Rumors strongly suggest that a new line of iPods will be unveiled early in September of this year. For those considering the purchase of an iPod, we recommend holding off until these new models become available. Check out CNET's iPod Central for all iPod news updates."
I'm in London UK and wondered if you've heard anything?
Ron
It was on September 9. Nothing really new on the iPod Classic, except that the 120GB has been discontinued, replaced by a 160GB version at the same price point. $249 US.
Have any of you guys see the new Ipod nano 5G? It has a built-in video camera. I think apple made a big mistake for manufacturing this gadget. It's a waste of money.
...it took my wife's money. Still the same mediocre Apple sound, but the FM radio section is actually quite nice...very Zune-like (gasp).
Well I hope it's all worth your money.. (but you could return it for a full refund if you want to).
Instead of ipod nano, I guess itouch would be a better buy. I also don't know why the heck apple called it 5G... it doesn't have too much "state of the art" upgrades. Is it for comic relief or what?
i hope so , butsome one have heard about that
