I have owned 3 PC notebooks and am ready to move down to a netbook.
question #1: Is Apple going to introduce something larger than an I-phone but smaller than 13" screen like a netbook?
question #2: I have access to my husbands two power PC's for heavy stuff, but if I opt to get a PC netbook for just emailing and websearching , which would be my best choice for under $400?
question #3: If I buy a PC netbook with Windows XP installed, would I need to move to Windows 7 or some variant after Windows 7 is released and would I get a free upgrade?
Thanks,
Judi Hooker
Since it's all rumors let's say no.
2. "Best"
Here's the problem. You have one criteria so for for "best" which is "under 400." Where is the long list? Which netbook you have available meets that list?
3. DON"T DO THAT!
I asked a question about a problem I found in Vista and Windows 7 and you don't want that on a netbook today. Read http://forums.cnet.com/5208-19411_102-0.html?messageID=3069825&tag=forums06;search-results#3069825
You'll want a solid answer to that question before jumping to Windows 7.
