Networking equipment for Linux

I want to get started right since that is probably the brand I will probably stay with.
My ISP is Verizon, my operating system is Linux (SUSE 11.+, and Abuntu's latest).
I have tried to educate myself but it is difficult, especially since I run Linux.
Question: What brand would be best for me to follow. Netgear is the only one I have seen that says it will run with Linux, but I don't really know.
I want to use the "N" based equipment if possible.
I don't know which is best, but...

So, why believe them. I want to deal with a company that will stand behind my purchase of there equipment. Netgear doesn't seem to care about there customers.
Is there anyone who can give me some feedback on Linux wireless equipment that works?
