Best free firewalls?
by gobraves97 - 8/16/09 12:23 AMCouldn't execute my last ZoneAlarm update because it required me to have XP. What's my next best option?
Gateway, Windows 2000.

by RogMJ007 - 8/16/09 4:52 PM In reply to: Best free firewalls? by gobraves97With Windows 2000 there are fewer choices, PC Tools has a free firewall a newer one and Filseclab Free Firewall. I used both at times on an XP OS. Both will work on your OS. Filseclab is probably the lighter of the two. They both worked while I was using them, moved on to Outpost Free not sure but I don't think it is supported by 2000.

PC Tools Firewall Plus and Sunbelt Personal Firewall also supports Windows 2000
