Can not load some packages just because its windows vista

by baklare - 8/14/09 5:57 PM

Some software packages cannot be installed because vista brings prompts like "Single-user licenses cannot be installed on servers running on NT Terminal serves". Is there a way one can by-pass this terminal server. Software packages that would not install on my vista are SPSS and Encarta Premium 2009.

This is an educated guess.

Chances are that you have older versions of SPSS and Encarta that are not designed for Vista. Contact SPSS for a newer version of that package.
Encarta was and may still supported by Microsoft, so you might try Microsoft tech support.
