I have tmoblie and wish to buy the omnia hd (i8910).I worried that it might not run correctly over here.Does anyone know what the tmoblie bands are? I know the phone has a quad band 850/900/1800/1900 I also know it has 3g but on the Europe network or something. Thanks for the help.
...you are SOL using it for 3G w/ T-Mo in the U.S. Typically they release UMTS 1700/2100 devices. ATT typically offers either 850/1900 or 850/1900/2100 UMTS devices, FWIW.

I'm now using the Omnia HD with AT&T. Of course my phone is the unlock version and it works normally with any issue. My sister for the Samsung S5603 which also work perfectly well.
Hey,
Does 3G work with your unlocked At&t samsung omnia HD? If so, what area do you live in and is only good in big city areas?
Second - can you customize SMS ringtones? (have a mp3 set for text messages?)
Third - Does the SWYPE text message system work? (google SWYPE samsung text if you dont know what it is)
thanks man!
