is it possible to use both Spysweeper and AVG at the same time?
If they're both running in the background, they can cause conflicts.. As long as you only use one for "second opinion" standalone scans, it's usually not an issue. With the two programs you've described, they generally both run constantly in the background, therefore I would disable one from doing so and only use it as a secondary scanner only.
Hope this helps.

It actually depends on which versions you are trying to run. If you are talking about running AVG Antivirus Free Version and Spysweeper Antispyware WITHOUT the Antivirus, this seems to work just fine. However is you are using the version of Spysweeper WITH antivirus, this can be a problem. Personally, I would not use Spysweeper in the first place because it can really slow down your computer.
