yesterday i had to reformat my hard drive on my laptop. while ALL my music is stored on a external USB drive, when i reinstalled itunes i lost my playlists (despite following apple's directions).
lucky for me (?) i had all my music and playlists on my iphone.. so the question was how to get them from the phone to itunes.
i bought a program called CopyTrans for $20.
BEWARE this software does not do what it says... after using it, I had doubles of every single song in my library (over 600 songs) and whats worse is that it did not copy my playlists from my phone to itunes.
i contacted CopyTrans tech support- and asked for a refund of my $20 which they denied. i feel very used by this company and i guess thats how they make their money- by selling shoddy software which doesnt do as promised.
