Thanks so much for your show.

Here's a very confusing topic.

Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro-Logic, DTS, 5.1 7.1, etc... My Receiver is a Denon AVR 5800 THX, Dolby Digital, etc.

Where do I start in setting up the proper decoding for a DVD? Do I start with the DVD and set everything up down the line? What about NetFlix standard DVD's with no sound encoding info on the jacket? How much of the decoding method is automatic, vs I have to set up? When watching my Hi Def Tivo, which sound settings should be used? If a particular program is encoded in a certain way, how will I know what to set up?

Oh... and what should i set my Samsung 46B750 up as sound-wise?

Man!!!... all this stuff is confusing.

Please bring some sanity to the process.
