3 yr old compaq c500 laptop...
came with 512 ram factory
upgraded it to two 1gb ram cards...(2 slots)
it now state 1012mb of ram under SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
so what happen to my other card ? try reseating ?
and
the person using this laptop needs dragon speak 10 installed and it will start but after it starts the .exe file it will give me this message ........
a prev. installation/reboot is pending please reboot to complete the installation & try again to install C++runtime for dragon naturally speaking
???????? what is that telling me ???????

The RAM is likely being allocated by an integrated video chipset.
The other message is telling you that something DNS 10 depends on isn't installed properly, and to fix that.
dragon is installed but still not sure bout ram not showing up...
